Blog 2: Holy Spirit…You’re Stuck with Me and I AM Grateful

In business, partners and employees come and go. But what if you had a collaborator who was guaranteed to never leave the table? This isn't just a silent partner; it's my greatest advantage. Jesus promised us power when the Holy Spirit comes, and this isn't market-driven power it's resurrection-driven. Join me as I reflect on how this divine partnership with the Holy Spirit guides my vision, convicts my resistance, and empowers my work with courage and clarity.

Celebrating the Holy Spirit’s faithfulness in my life! He’s stuck with me for life and that’s the best news of all. A reflection on divine partnership.

Being an Aquarian entrepreneur is a wild ride. We thrive on independence, bold ideas and the thrill of disrupting the status quo. But it also means we can be stubborn, distracted and restless. My experience, corporate life tested those traits and business ownership amplifies them.

Enter the Holy Spirit.

Unlike any investor or co-founder, He doesn’t ask for equity. He doesn’t show up only when the quarterly reports look good. His role is permanent! Jesus promised: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you” (Acts 1:8). That power isn’t market-driven,  it’s resurrection-driven and results guaranteed!

And here’s what that looks like in my world:

  • When my independence turns into stubborn resistance… He convicts me.
  • When my vision outpaces my resources… He steadies me.
  • When my restless mind chases ten new business models… He grounds me in truth.

The Spirit never files HR complaints, never sends passive aggressive emails, never walks out of a strategy meeting. He endures because He’s bound to me in Christ. Romans 8:9 reminds me that if I belong to Christ, I have His Spirit. Period!!!

Scriptures that anchor me in business:

  • “The Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline” (2 Tim. 1:7).
  • “The Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you” (Rom. 8:11).
  • “Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Cor. 3:17).

Affirmations I speak over my work:

  • I am empowered by the Spirit of God to lead with courage and clarity.
  • My Aquarian imagination is not chaos but it is vision shaped by the Spirit of God.
  • I walk in freedom, truth and purpose because of the Spirit within me.

If business teaches you anything, it’s that partners and employees come and go. But the Spirit is a partner who never leaves the table. He’s not just my silent collaborator He is my greatest advantage.
